It can be installed on any external-facing wall.

Can I install the Merino Mono myself?
Even though installation is easy, we are currently limiting the sale and installation of Merino Mono to our certified installer partners.
What is your warranty?
1-year warranty for the hardware, up to 3-years for labor
Does the price include permitting?
Permitting is not included in the $3,800 price point. Permitting costs are quoted at the discretion of the installer. All of our certified installer partners are licensed to help with permitting for heat pumps.
What is the difference between the Mono and the Alpha?
The Alpha is our first generation product. It was designed for multi-family buildings. Although the Alpha can work in both multi-family and single-family buildings, the Mono is specifically designed for single-family homes and condos. The Mono has a refined industrial design, higher efficiency, and a suite of software features that are designed to improve comfort & savings for homeowners.
Can I purchase an Alpha if I need a heat pump before the Mono is available?
